Synchrotron mineral analysis — a topic we like talking about
One topic we are especially curious to discuss is synchrotron-based mineral analysis. Synchrotron SR-XRD can detect trace phases, amorphous components, and overlapping mineral assemblages that conventional laboratory XRD may not resolve. If you have been wondering what synchrotron measurements could add to your work, or how they compare to conventional XRD, we are happy to share what we have learned so far.
